Overview
The CC2541 PA2 module is a cost-effective, high range, true system-on-chip (SoC) for Bluetooth low energy applications.This solution use BLE4.0 CC2541 wireless MCU with the SimpleLink range extender to improve the receiver sensitivity and increase the total linkbudget, enabling up to four times the range of bluetooth connection. It enables robust BLE master or slave nodes to be built with very low total bill-of-material costs. The CC2541 combines an excellent RF transceiver with an industry-standard enhanced 8051 MCU, in-system programmable flash memory, 8-KB RAM, and many other powerful supporting features and peripherals.The CC2541PA2 is suitable for systems where long range is required. Very low-power sleep modes are available. Short transition times between operating modes further enable low power consumption.
